The lobby of the iconic Casa Vega restaurant called for a renewed sense of soul and authenticity—one that would align with the dark, moody atmosphere guests have long been drawn to.
The primary challenge was transforming a very small space so it felt as though it had always existed in its current form. Custom-colored plaster walls were layered to create depth and texture, establishing a rich and immersive foundation. Mirrored ceiling tiles were introduced to subtly expand the space, enhancing light and dimension without compromising its intimacy.
Vintage lighting and tufted upholstery bring a sense of old-world character, while reworked archival photographs line the walls, telling the story of the family's history and creating a walk-through sense of memory and legacy.
The result is a true jewel box—intimate, atmospheric, and deeply rooted in the spirit of Casa Vega.
